MMZX a bit hard, requiring knowledge of the map, and a few stages being insanely difficult for the beginner player. MMZ4 being the best and easiest of all 4 MMZ games. MMZ3 is a bit more difficult, requiring you to upgrade and use cyber-elfs. I think you might just suck at 2D Platform games Did you ever try playing any other 2D Platform Game before? There is a slight chance you might just not play very well at all. Originally posted by Hatsune Miku:I died 4 times in a row against the 2nd boss, jesus christ this game is hard or i suck. Then again, MMZX and ZXA are as hard as Zero series for different reasons, but at least I like them a little more because they are longer to play than Zero series. I'm sure someone got there and did their research on the game code by reverse engeneering to grab the entire recipe list to put on GameFaqs, because the game doesn't help you at all with it.

I don't mind removing the chips at all, but I do get angry when they decide to add 38 recipes to the game and only six or seven clues in-game of how to make like 5 of those recipies. The reson for that is the way they decided to change the gameplay. Is that's the case, doesn't make the item at all - A issue I have with Bayonetta). That alone made the game way more balanced (I don't understand why Devs think of programming an item in their game that if you use it will hurt your score. MMZ3 is less painful letting you choose between two elves without actually using them. That's a thing on ALL MMZ games and it was removed from ZX for a freaking reason. You still need to take way too little damage and your rank isn't presented by Stages but by the entire game so if you fall down a rank you'll never hit that rank again.

IT's hard becuase of the bad game design. 1St MMZ is not hard because of the hitboxes.
